Meantime are Britain’s only brewers of authentic India Pale Ale. Small batch production allows us to apply the attention to detail and care we require to produce an authentic IPA especially for you. Pound upon pound of Fuggles & Goldings hops are needed to enable us to achieve the dry hopping rates necessary to recreate this great beer style. Enjoy with hot foods and spicy friends, or vice versa.

---Rated BY Italianbeer85

The beer looks quite nice. The color of the brew is an nice dark amber, with a beautiful relish glow. The beer is very cloudy and has a lovely satin aspect. On top of the beer, a nice layer of soft foam is formed. The foam is white, with a tiny yellow tint. The bulk of the foam collapses quickly, but a nice drape of foam remains on top of the beer. The smell is nice. It’s not like the IPA’s of nowadays. This beer is more malty and less hoppy. I do smell some citrusy hops, and some floral aromas. I also smell some red suits, like cherries, and some oakwood. There is also a nice malty aroma, with a little roasty touch. It isn’t like the IPA’s of today, but it is very good. I also smell some licorice and some spices. The taste is also very nice. It has the same licorice and spice touches, and the little toasty malt flavor. I also taste some lovely delicate hops. The beer has a nice fresh feeling. The palate is very good. The beer has a nice amount of gas in it and a nice bitterness that tingles the tongue very nicely.

From Club del Gourmet of Corte Ingles El Duque. In Teku glass. After dinner. Not bad, but traditional english hops arent as tasty nor aromatic as modern ones from usa, new zealand, etc.

Huge floral hit on the nose. Taste of floral spicey hops dominates, quite sweet, low bitternes and a little malt. As flowery as it gets.

CONCLUSION : une ipa anglaise hors sujet !!

Bottled 33cl. Pours a very clear yellow beer, low white head. Nose is very low, mainly sugar / bubble gum. Taste is mainly alcohol. A very uninteresting product.

Bottle at tderoeck's place, thanks! Malty backbone, typical English IPA, kind of sweet, not too bitter. Fair enough.
