330 ml bottle fridge cool served in a chalice. Yellow body, thin white head. I struggled to discern a faint straw aroma. Also struggled to find anything major going on flavour-wise. A little malt, soap and marzipan. Not terrible, just quite basic lager.

330 ml bottle bought at CitySuper in Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui.

Clear dull golden colour; Razor-thin head and residual white foam which fades in 10 seconds; Almost no lacing with notable carbonation; Aroma of malt, bread, hint of butter, and slight straw and hay; Minimal, almost no sweet taste of malt, with light bread, faint citrus and light grass; Light body, with rather watery thin and empty palate; Taste profile is macro pale lager base without adjuncts and sweetness (good) but otherwise really thin and empty, with malt, bread, citrus, grass tastes all in short supplies; Hoppiness is really weak for a premium lager, not enough to contribute any decent finish; Slightly dry after taste, extremely easy to mouth.

Comments: A disappointing premium lager, with paper-thin body, empty maltyness and hoppiness. Its only saving grace is no sugar and grain tastes. In truth, better than macro pale lager is not enough in this class. Not worth the US$3 I paid for.

UPDATED: APR 16, 2013 Nothing amazing but decent for a lager. Better then many other beers on tap in England. But found it was a bit pricey on tap as it is still nothing great.

330ml bottle. Very slightly cloudy straw colour with a small head. Generic lager aroma. Pretty generic lager flavour, too. Perhaps a little more yeasty. Certainly better than commercial European and American lagers but nothing special.

Slightly grainy malt, some biscuit, moderate hop to balance and a tiny hint of citrus. Decent lager but doesn’t set the world alight.
