3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pint at the Market Porter. A: Bronze, clear, lively looking, medium well retained head, clear. S: Noble hop, Hallertau? More Pilsner than Pale Ale. T: Sour dough, lots of rye bread gave way to fruity bitterness. M: Lots of carbonation, had a real snap to it. O: Seemed stronger than it was, would drink again. More of a European than American take on a pale ale.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Ocado. Pours mid amber, clear with lots of tiny bubbles and a thin watery head. Aroma weak but with interesting American style hops - some mild citrus and piney flavour. Good taste but rather too well carbonated and without the depth of strength of some similar pale ales.
