Bottle and keg - force carbonated. Is available cask conditioned. Cold fermented and lagered.
Ingredients: Pale ale malt, pale crystal malt, and Munich malt: Cascade, Cluster, and Goldings hops.

One hundred and fifty years ago the new bitter beer style, Pale Ale, was so popular that brewers had to import Californian hops to meet demand. Meantime London Pale Ale continues that tradition by combining lots of American Cascade and Centennial hops to give it a complex citrus aroma and buckets full of local Kentish Goldings to provide the bitterness that makes the style so refreshing. Together they conspire to assail the nose with a complex, heady mix of spearmint, grass and ‘hop sack’ aromas, fruity citrus flavours and a bitter finish that makes pale ale drinking a truly rewarding experience.

Aroma has some lager malts and is a bit bland. Pours clear golden with a medium white head. Taste is nice and fresh, subtle hopiness with a sweet touch of malts. Palate is stray and a little oily. Overall a nice surprise, a low ABV with a nice taste.

Moderately hopped to let some malt flavours through but not as bitter as it's big brother IPA. Some sweetness & effervescence. An decidedly average beer. Rated by BrewTom

In bottle. Golden amber. White rocky head. A bit cloudy. Not very persistent and intense, at nose and in the mouth. Honey, biscuit, lemon, orange peel, grassy. Good carbonation. Sweet in the entry and the bitter is not persistent and intense.

330ml bottle. Pours clear. Amber colour. Virtually no carbonation. Tinny aroma and minimal white foam head. Flat metallic taste that lingers. Not awesome.

Orange, grapefruit, grass ad some grains in the aroma. Amber with a off-white head. Medium sweet and medium + bitter. Medium body with a average to soft carbonation. Slightly dry and bitter finish. Overall a tasty, balanced, fruity and refreshing Pale Ale.

Transferring some earlier reviews from my blog to RB. Aprill 2014, mingi väikepood Redchurch Streetil Londonis (£ 1,99), 33 cl.
