mjs (481), Helsinki, Finland Aug 16, 2008 (Bottle on 2008-08-16) Deep reddish brown. Clear. Medium-sized fizzy head that disappeared quickly. Liquorice and roastedness in nose. Full-bodied palate with quite a lot carbonation. Chocolate, roastedness, light bitterness, some coffee and sweetness in taste. Quite nice. chicagodri (469), Chicago, Illinois, USA Aug 13, 2008 Pours a dark brown with a thin tan head. Nice coffee and chocolate aroma. Smooth flavor. A very well done Porter. A very sweet finish, but good nonetheless. My first beer from Meantime, I hope to have some more. michael-pollack (1362), King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 12, 2008 750ml Bottle: Aroma of malts, coffee, chocolate, ash, nuts, and a hint of roasting. Poured dark brown with a hint of ruby in color and a large, tan head that diminished but lasted throughout. Clear. Slightly sparkling. Ok lacing. Flavor is light to medium sweet. Tastes of cocoa, coffee, cream, sugar, and roasting. Medium body. Chalky texture. Average to lively carbonation. Sweet, cocoa and sugar finish is a bit dry. timsilvia32 (183), born in Michigan, North Carolina, USA Jul 30, 2008 Dark brown/amber pour, tan head. Roasted coffee, malts, in the nose. The same in the mouth plus some chocolates. Pretty carbonated with a clean finish. Might be a little light bodied, but good overall. Gary__ (72), London, Greater London, England Jul 26, 2008 Updated: Aug 18, 2008> I reckon this was excellent-not just a cool bottle -no . Big arse beige above that ruby Porter colour siganture. I love these corked bottles. MMMMMMM Meantime Porter’s flavours are roasted as a feature .With shitloads of roast chocolate .A bit dry and burnt -maybe some red wine too. Look, this is cool stuff.
