COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Avaailable on Keg and in 750ml bottles.
George Washington was a big fan of imported English Porter. By 1769 he'd lost his taste for British beers. After all, it was keeping the Redcoats fighting. Our Porter is based on a recipe from 1750. We bring you the original aromas and flavours of the beer that made London the world's brewing capital, flavours we know Washington would have loved. Time, care and attention have enabled us to produce a blend of beers bringing you the flavour of the 1750's. Share this beer with friends and enjoy with barbeques, fish or shellfish. The ruby colour & bottle conditioning are proof of its heritage and authenticity.

FROM NOTES: August 27, ’12. From a 750mlbottle into a Spiegelau tulip. A: Aroma is very roasted, with a dry cocoa note, a nuttiness, and slight caramel notes. A: Pours black with some ruby highlights and a frothy two-finger head that leaves nice lacing behind. Retention is nice as well. T: Follows the nose closely with a more pronounced chocolate taste coming through. P: Light to medium body with a medium to high carbonation. Perhaps a bit to much carbonation for the style. O: A fantastic porter! Great robust roasted flavors with nice complexity and balance albeit a little high on the carbonation. Highly enjoyable porter.

Quite too light for porter. Mybe not in ABV, but overall in body. Mostly malty, with some decent roasted hints, bit nutty, caramel. Quite dry finish. Moderate sweet with light bitterness. Yes its a porter, but I would prefer it as brown ale x)

Nu pieņemsim ka underrate, bet man nepatīk tāda vnk ogle bez tumīguma. No šī būtu labs imps, bet te daudz kas trūkst iespējams atslēgas vārdis ir saldums :)
