Draught @ the old brewery. Aroma of some burnt malt and coffee. Very dark brown with small thick light brown head. Lasting. Taste of burnt coffee. Balanced bitterness and sweetness. Finish is bitter and dry. Not as thick texture as expected. Oily/watery. Average carbonation.

Aroma de café. No sabor, a mescla de café com baunilha dá à cerveja um sabor suave com toque aveludado. Final seco, mas com boa drinkability.

Very dark red, almost black with a thick fine beige head. Aroma is black fruits, roasted malts with a light metallic notes. Taste is very rich with toasted malts again, coffee powder, some chocolate and a light sourness in the finish.

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Fajny Stout, który okazał się być lagerem. W aromacie dużo gorzkiej czekolady, lekka kawowość, kakao, klasycznie, ale przyjemnie. W smaku wytrawne, wyraźnie palone, spora kwaskowość od ciemnych słodów, gładkie i niezwykle pijalne. Solidne, wręcz nudnawe.

Bottle. Dark brown body, small beige head. Weak aroma with pleasant warm roast. Mildly ashy roasty taste - indeed a Schwartzbier. Sourish finish with some roasted almonds. A good drinking beer but nothing outstanding. Carbonation is a bit too high - or maybe it’s the beer’s sourness that amplifies the existing CO2 sourness.

500 ml bottle from beer-shop.it served in a shaker glass. Dark ruby red with some purple-ish tinges, perfectly clear, and a minuscle light beige head which fizzed away immediately. Not really poweful aroma of roasted malts, black watered down coffee, cocoa powder, and grassy/herbal notes. Exactly the same impressions in the taste, but more sweet and astringent than expected, with a light mineral/metallic presence. Way over carbonated, even for a true schwarz. Light to medium body and oily texture. So so, just above average. Wouldn’t seek again to be honest.

In short: a correct dry stout.
Pours very dark wiht nice off white head. Some head retention, poor lacing. Roasty, coffee, liquorice aromas. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Taste is roasty, coffee, liquorice. Quite dry finish and aftertaste. Enjoyable.
