COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Available in 330ml bottle and Keg.
A gentle maltiness on the nose deceives as a massive hop flavour envelopes the tongue. Lots of organic Perle and Halletauer hops give the correct levels of bitterness, making this delicately hued pilsner true to the German style, as well as enabling it to stand up much better than most lagers to stronger flavours such as mature cheeses, hams and smoked meats, or oily fish.

Bottle, bought at Cockneys, Aarhus. Pours clear, lightly pale golden with a small, white head. Aroma is a bit sugary sweet, but has a nice flowery hoppy edge to it. Highish carbonation, fine mouthfeel - fitting the style well. Begins with a sweet and malty side before turning well bitter and hoppy with limited dryness. Fine pilsner.

Bottle 33cl. @ home.
Clear medium to light dark yellow color with a large, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, grass notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium to light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. (140808)

Bottle (330ml). I must say, the Meantime bottles are among the coolest out there - this one from Waitrose. Light gold pour, clear with champagne-like bubbling, huge fluffy white head (3+). Extremely dry nose, wildflowers and clover - but not too sweet. Definitely a solid floral bitterness to it, but quite simple, even a hint of honey in the finish. Light, soft body, a slight astringency, a nice modulated floral/sweet grain linger. Nothing special, but well-made and easy to drink.
