COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Tropical fruit flavours and aroma on a light malt base. The Australian and New Zealand craft brewing scene has taken inspiration from the hoppy aromatic Pacific Coast American craft beers to come up with a beer style of its own.Meantime’s interpretation shouts passion fruit, mango and grapefruit, succulent and soft pale malt. A tropical taste for wholehearted summer drinking. Goes well with strong pepper flavours such as jerk chicken, also rich soft cheeses.

Keg tap at the Hare and Billet, Blackheath. Gold pour with a white head. Citrus and vanilla aroma. Citrus, banana and wheat flavour. Not too bad.

3rd August Keg at Bold Tendencies- Peckham Car Park. Light golden colour with minimal head. Quite a bit of carbonation. Aroma is light zesty tropical fruits. Flavour is mango and generally quite fruity. Not a huge amount of hop bite but quite refreshing all the same. This isn't going to scare the horses but overall a solid enough beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Minimal aroma. Tastes rather under powered when your are used to the kernel et al. Standard pale ale, rather watery.

Draft @ de Paas. Clear amber colour with a nice white head. Aroma is full of malts, fruits and caramel wich returns in the flavour as well. Quite sweet to drink, while I’d expected it to be a bit more hoppy. Decent brew tough

Draft @ The Union Tavern. Pours a still deep amber with a small white head. The nose is some grass, mango, grapefruit and light white grape. The taste is sweet corn, bread, lemon and grass. Medium bitter finish. Light body, somewhat lifeless on the tongue. This tastes a bit ’cheap’, take from that what you will. Overall, an OK APA. Nothing special.

Pint at the Market Porter. Golden colour, clear, tiny head. Very nice cascade/citrus aroma with notes of belgian yeast. Tasted mango, grapefruit and citrus, this was balanced out by a slightly bitter finish. Crisp mouthfull, well carbonated, smooth enough. Overall great session beer with lots of character for the fairly low abv.

Draught @ O’Connell’s, Tampere.
Pours a beautiful bright golden colour with a white head and loads of small bubbles. Aroma of floral hops, white bread, orange and kiwi. Flavour of pale malts, bitter hops, floral notes, orange and grass. Light bodied, thinnish mouthfeel and a bitter, fruity and dry finish. Nice bitterness but too light bodied, unfortunately.
