In the days before lager, Pale Ale was the original reassuringly expensive tipple. Drinking it set you apart from the Bitter crowd. Our Pale Ale is more than special. English Goldings, American Cascade & Cluster hops provide the bitterness, whilst our unique dry hopping technique with bucketfuls of Cascade & Willamette hops gives it a tantalising aroma.

Bottle. The ale’s a light. slightly hazy golden color with a white head. The nose is slightly sweet, there’s a funky pea-like smell to this beer. Some grass, light malts. The taste is pretty easy, moderately sweet with a simple moderately bitter finish. The body is light/medium. The carbonation is medium. Overall, an OK pale, don’t cry if you miss out on a bottle.

Solide. Die Bitternote ist dagegen recht gut präsent.Test vom 24.3.2011, Gebinde: Glasflasche

The beer in the glass is red-orange-yellow with flat, long-lasting head. The smell shows lots of aromahops, with plenty of citrus. Starts very aroma hoppy and herb, with a slight lemon note. The middle part shows a very drinkable and mild hoppy flavor with a slightly herbal note, and and lots of citrus. The finishis a bit more herbal, again with delicious aroma hops.

33cl bottle. Pours golden with some head and very slight bubbles. The nose has pine and grapefruit pith on the nose. The taste has malt and grapefruit on a malt background profile. The palate has a medium structure amd texture with a clean finish. Overall, a decent pale ale.

Medium orange pour from its beautiful bottle. Kiwifruit, grapefruit, butterscotch and malt-heavy bread on the nose. Starts off British with flowery English hops and buttery ESB malt, and finishes American with muscular cascade bitterness. Mouthfeel is a bit sticky. Very fine carbonation. Familiar but inviting mid-Atlantic pale ale.
