Commercial Description:
Keg and bottle: Unfiltered.
The base beer is the Wheat Grand Cru with raspberries added before secondary fermentation.
Raspberry Grand Cru has a vibrant red colour and a fine white head. The beer has a full raspberry fruit nose, a balance of sweet and sour fruit on the palate and a wildly refreshing zesty finish.

Cloudy orange with little to no head. Faint aroma of malt and raspberries, should be stronger. The flavour is malty and estery, with the (only slightly tart ) raspberry finishing, and quite quickly. Not unpleasant, but not fruity enough, and a little artificial tasting.

Bottled, 330ml, Xmas present. Reddish brown with no head. Sharp tinny flavours with a saccharin presence in the background. Some fruitiness, but not as expected. Not good.

average creamy off white head. good lacing. mostly lasting. sparkling nthick dark yellow body. aroma: white wine, amora, framboesa, frutas silvestres. if and ff: light sweet and bitter. average duration. palate: light medium body, dry texture, lively carbonation and metallic finish. agradável azedume de frutas silvestres como framboesa colhida direto do pé, não lembra em nada uma cerveja tradicional, daí seu grande mérito Nota: 90 skol

Boa espuma, muito carbonatada, lembra um espumante. Aroma de frutas secas, leve aroma de amora. Seca no final.

Bottled: Pleasant fruity aroma, full of rasperries, some acid. Foamy head, orange color. Flavor is quite sourly, fruity, notes of berries, quite astringent and dry. Unbalanced and for me too sourly.

330ml Bottle (Drink, Tallinn) - Amber/pink in colout. Fruity and slightly musty aroma with tart raspberry noted. Tart and fruity taste with raspberry and some musty elements. The finish is tart, sharp and fairly dry.

Bottle, Bacchus, Newcastle. I like Meantime beer and I love raspberries, so was hoping for big things from this beer. I’ve never been so disappointed by a brew in a long time. The aroma was there, but, after that, a thin, metallic tang of not much. Beer was nothing like described on the bottle, in fact it was pretty much nothing at all. If it had been on draught I would have asked for an exchange. As for ’vibrant’ red - it was a standard pale looking ale. The blurb on the bottle also described regulars at their pub drinking it by the pint - I can’t imagine anyone wanting to drink more than a half of this. Has there been a cock-up in the brewing/bottling process here.....???
