Clear deep reddish colour with an off white head. Roasted. light smokey and coffee bitter aroma with fruity notes. Light smokey and coffee bitter finish.

Clear medium red brown color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is malty, roasted, berry, beery sour sweet, spicy. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, it was over carbonated. (130508)

Jun 27, 2008 Bottle from Nelson Wines. Dark brown with a cream coloured head. Chocolate notes and alcohol on the nose. Treacly flavour. This beer is not going to set the world alight and there are far better winter warmers out there.
