Draught@The White Horse. Some subtle choc and roasted malt. Quite malty/chocolatey, but the palate is quite light, sort of medium bodied. Mouth feel is smooth and rounded. Almost too rounded. Nice to drink though.

Bottle. High creamy good looking light brown head. Very dark red almost black body. Roasted barley malt aroma with coffee notes. Coffee also dominates the flavor which does not have much hops bitterness and feels creamy in the mouth and has vineous notes. Low carbonation, long coffee aftertaste.

At the tasting session by Joes. A clear dark brown colored beer, with a beige head. The aroma of caramel and a little coffee. The taste of roasted malts, dry bitter, with some coffee and toffee in the back. The after taste is a little bitter.

Clear medium red brown color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is malty, roasted, berry, beery sour sweet, spicy. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, it was over carbonated. (130508)
