COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
First appeared as a draught special in March/April 2011.
This is not the same beer as the Marks & Spencer Greenwich Red Ale. They are similar recipes, but are not the same. They use completely different hops and malts.
Brewed with 5 hop varieties from the Yakima Valley, Washington State.

Reddish color. Medium off-white head. Some lacing. Bready, malty aroma with a nice orange aroma. Hoppy flavor with notes of a bread. Bitter, sweet finish. Slightly dry. Nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Red cloudy amber ale. Nice pine hoppy aroma, yeasty but with a drinkable feel. Medium carbonation. Enough flavour from the low alcohol beer.

light beige head that disappears quickly, some faint lacing. clear redbrown/amber colour. hoppy resin smell, some malt, also a hint metallic. medium carbonation. hop bitterness in the taste, somewhat slick, oily and dry aftertaste that is light bitter of moderate duration. not a lot of body, tastes somewhat diluted. anyway, not bad for the low abv. from bottle 33cl

On tap at Kick. It pours a brown, lightly unclear body and a dense, finger-thick off-white head. The aroma is fruity and rather roasted, with some tropical fruits and toffee hints. Butterscotch. The flavor has the same toffee, butterscotch and roasted malts, with some fruityness. Medium to thin body, soft carbonation. Roasted, buttery and fruity finish with a faint bitterness. A decent beer, far from impressive. 130427

Tap. Nice peachy hop nose. Hazy amber, lacing offwhite head. Aromatic hops underlaid by a toasty earthy note, needs a tad more oomph in the middle . Somewhat light body, mellow mouthfeel. Apricot retronasal pleasant.

Medium, rather dense cream-coloured head over rather still metallic amber-copper beer. Superbly fruity USA-hops. Citrus, resin, exotic fruit. Bitter, but fast gone impression, only to return, much diminished and more metallic in the aftertaste. Meanwhilie, try to imagine utterly dry, totally non-sweet caramel. Finish shows some of the USA hops from the nose. Very empty MF. Even keeping in mind it only features 4%, compared to some other, recent low alcohols, this is watery. Nose is great. If only the rest followed in the same vein.

Bottle shared by Joes. Clear light amber red color, small white to off - white head. Smell malts, lightly hops, a bit flowery. Taste malts, blossom, grassy, a bit hoppy, decently bitter. Very nice beer.

Bottle @ joes. Orange to copper colou with a lacing white head. Smells hops, pine, fresh. Tastes hoppy, bitter, fresh, fruity, pine - but too thin. Watery, soft carbo.
