COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
First appeared as a draught special in March/April 2011.
This is not the same beer as the Marks & Spencer Greenwich Red Ale. They are similar recipes, but are not the same. They use completely different hops and malts.
Brewed with 5 hop varieties from the Yakima Valley, Washington State.

Probably there was some issue with expiration date. More professional beer rater’s rates, as I went through them, prove that this is a good choice. Could’ve been more bitter. Likeable bottle design.

Reddish brown, slightly cloudy; peachy hop aroma; this is a well-balanced beer, with plenty of malty thickness underneath pleasant tropical fruit / orangey hops; a good dry bitterness; this was the last beer in my case of 24, reflecting a ’this is likely to be a sour monstrosity’ attitude to how I thought it would be; it’s nothing of the sort and is extremely pleasant.

Ciężko to opisać - trzeba spróbować... Goryczka naprawdę delikatna z przyjemnym odczuciem w ustach.

Decent ruby brown pour with mild frothy white head. Caramel, sugary malt base. Some mild spiciness with the hops. Nothing remarkable, but quite drinkable.

Amber colour with off-white head. Citrus-like hop aroma. Taste of pine and grapefruit. A bit watery.

Bottle from Spirited Wines. Appearance - beautiful auburn with nice lacy suds on the surface. Nose - mixture of red fruit and grapefruit. Taste - more of the same. Nice biscuit backdrop. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy yet crunchy texture and a dry finish which is short but still good. Overall - lovely beer at the ABV.
