Pours clear amber with a initially large white head which is very short lived. Aroma is biscuit, red fruit, yeast, citrus, malts and a fair dose of hoppy nose. Flavour is iron/steel metallic taste, orange and citrus bitterness. Moderate carbonation and a medium body.

Bottiglia 33cl. Bel colore ambrato, schiuma poco persistente. Il buon profumo di luppolo e malto con note citriche mi faceva sperare in qualcosa di più... in bocca mi ha un pò deluso. Molto "watery", finale asciutto, luppolo.

Butelka 330ml. Piekny ciemny bursztynowy kolor o lekko be?owej pianie. Piwo raczej wodniste o malym wysyceniu. Zapach zdominowany przez amerykanskie chmiele i cytrusy. W smaku jest podobnie - goryczka owoce cytrusowe orzechy i ziemisty posmak. Ciekawe piwo o pieknym wygladzie.

Keg at St. Aldates Tavern, Oxford. Clouded reddy amber with white head. There is a slightly harsh metallic edge to this at the start, tinny, bloody iron notes. Some sweetness, fairly thin with a berry type flavour. Just okay.

330ml bottle. Orange in colour, pours with a frothy white head. Floral and fruity on the nose, with a light and crisp flavour of hops.

Classy amber with so little in flavor intensity, kind of money waste. Light body, watery texture. Some dry finish from low FG.

The beer has a beautiful look. The color is just like you aspect from this beer. It is, of course, red. It has a little orange touch though. The foam is just slightly of white. It is quite creamy and sort. After a short time the bulk of the foam has collapsed, but a little drape of foam remains on top of the beer. The smell is quite nice. However, it is a little mild. It could have been a little stronger. The smell has a delicious little hop smell. This little citrusy aroma is not to strong, unfortunately. The malty, slightly bready aroma, which is also present, is a little to strong for my taste. It is stronger than the nice hop aroma. The smell as a whole is not bad, but to mild, a little weak. The smell is nice to. It also has a nice citrusy hop flavor. There is a nasty little mental flavor to, which is not so great. The beer has a little unpleasent aftertaste. It isn’t as great as I expected. But, it is sure isn’t bad. It is drinkable, and better than most pilsners.

Bottle at The Green Dragon, Leek (JDW) Pours a clear deep ruby amber colour with a thin white head. Aroma of caramel, some toasted malts, a little orange and slight grassy hops. Taste of caramel, some toasted malts, slight red berries, a little orange, subtle pine and grassy hops. Medium bodied and moderate carbonation. A dry, caramelly bitterness in the finish. A plain and simple amber ale, sweet caramel malt and red berries plus a little citrus, pine and grassy hops. Meantime do average craft beers and this is another one:

Pretty generic, this one. Aroma of malt and dried fruit. Flavour is fairly bland. A little sweet malt, light fruit. Not much else. Meh.
