COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
First appeared as a draught special in March/April 2011.
This is not the same beer as the Marks & Spencer Greenwich Red Ale. They are similar recipes, but are not the same. They use completely different hops and malts.
Brewed with 5 hop varieties from the Yakima Valley, Washington State.

500 ml bottle, at Olympen, Oslo. Beautiful reddish colour, large to moderate off-white head. Lovely complex aroma of American hops, notes of various fruits, hints of spices. Delightful hoppy flavour, well balanced with the malts, notes of red fruits / berries, blackcurrants and blackcurrant leaves, extremely drinkable. Great with a mutton dinner, or alone. A "school example" of English subtlety paired with American quality hops in a moderate ABV "session" ale.

A clear amber coloured liquid with a small off-white head that leaves plenty of lacing. Smells like a picnic with biscuits and butterscotch in the middle of a citrus orchard. But once you drink it, it’s obvious the caramel and biscuit are really only there to balance the lovely flowery citrus bitterness that dominates the flavour. Goes great with Thai food. With only 4% ABV I guess this time less truly is more.

On tap, poured a beautiful dark mahogany. Surprised its just an amber, especially for the ABV, had a great red, hoppy flavor. Excellent.

Tap @ The Euston Tap. Amber brown colour, not much head. Mild hoppy aroma. Strong dry hoppy flavour with lingering hoppy aftertaste. Served a bit cold but still not bad.

Clear amber/red colour with a nice white head, lively carbonation. Very refreshing Ale with a light to medium malt body, covered into flavorful aroma hops. Aftertaste, hoppy, - fresh hop, some sweetness, herbal hints, excellent beer,

Vielen Dank an Sean! Total trocken. Dafür frisch und süffig. Tolles Bier!
