COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Meckatzer Urweizen fulfills all demands for a dark Weizen in a most natural way. It takes its dark colour, as well as its well-rounded taste exclusively from the fine Caramelmalts used.

Bottle: Deep golden, cloudy, big and very slowly collapsing loose white head; sourish-fruity nose with ripe bananas traces of dusty grains and yeast; moderate sourish-sweetish flavour, accomanied by a certain bitterness; almost medium bodied, a bit fizzy; slightly lingering fsweetish-caramelly finish with ripe bananas, again. Quite pleasant...

Bottle. Light amber, hazy, small to average and fully diminishing head. Light to moderate, malty – wheaty and lightly sweetish aroma, faint caramel, light fruitiness and banana, yeast. Body is light to medium, malty – some wheat and lightly sweetish flavor, faint fruitiness and banana, light sourness. Finish is short to average, malty – lightly wheaty and dryish, faint banana with some sharp metal and light sourness. Sourish and bit thin hefeweizen with sharp metallic finish. Not so enjoyable.

Bottle by Dohny, many thanks! Lightly hazy golden colour. Aroma light caramel, lightly nicely grassy hops. Taste is a bit sharp and spicy, clove. Other than taht, lihtly sweetish matly. Not bad, I can imagine drinking a whole bottle.
