Better "island beer" than corona so if you are in a pinch for craft beer, it's not a bad substitute. Very neutral taste, similar to Amstel Light but with more malt aroma a taste in the form of a light crackers taste. Not a bad beer to session with on the beach. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I drank a ton of bottles of this on the cruise ship in the Caribean. Light nose with some corn sweetness. This is a light refreshing beer which is well designed for the hot, humid nature of Puerto Rico. Light malt flavors with a clean finish and only a hint of bitterness in the finish. I asked and there is no Medalla regular.

This is no game changer or anything made to impress you. It’s a Americanized bastardization of German pilsners. It’s the Puerto Rican version of Coors, Budweiser and Miller. Nothing special here but it’s a lot better than it’s US counter parts. There is no flaws in this beer in terms of off-flavors, it just lack any good flavor. For this reason I take this well brewed watery corn based lager over badly off-flavored craft lagers. Aroma – Corn… malted water… Appearance – pale corn… malted water… Taste – corn… water… Mouthfeel – thin, watery

Can hand delivered from another co-worker from PR. Pours a pale streaw yellow with a minimal head. the body was surprisingly full for an island brew. Sweet and whispy. No hops whatsoever. Finish fast and empty. I am solidly defining this beer as a "Lattitude/ attitude determinate beer" Even though it was humid muggy and generally uncomfortable last evening in Pennsylvania when I consumed it, I am certain that it would have tasted better even in the face of a hurricane if I was sitting in Puerto Rico. A pleasant experience but a bit like keystone light in a can.

Thanks to my brother for brining this one back from Puerto Rico. Pale gold colored body with a large bright white head. The carbonation is certainly in a hurry to get up the glass. The malty aroma is complemented with potatoes and some grassy notes. There is also some hints of black pepper. The taste has bitter apple core and hay. There is a metallic note in the finish. Highly carbonated and that is a little distracting for me.

Drank this one in old San Juan, decanted into a plastic cup. I know Puerto Rico makes a couple of other beers, but this was the only one I could find, and it was EVERYWHERE. The head was a thin and foamy white, which matched perfectly the piss-yellow body. Aroma was somewhat perfumed. The taste and mouthfeel were ideally suited to this light swill, as was the finish. I only drank this beer so as to "collect" another country.

Drinkable. Local beer in Puerto Rico. If you don’t want to spend $10 for a Sam Adams, there is no other alternative. Actually, not a bad light beer.

Nice beer for hot summer temperatures. Needs to be very cold. Pale color, slight aroma. Very slight malt taste.

I am pleasantly surprised by this beer. its actually a very clean tasty mellow yet very drinkable beer. only slight taste with the malts and very little hops. a wee bit of corn at the end. but its nicely carbonated and quite refreshing.

Muted, sweet malt aroma. Pedestrian twist-off bottle. Light, clear, straw colored beer with very little head. Sweetish malt flavor, mild bittering. Medium-light body, effervescent and crisp. Very drinkable - you could go through a bunch of this on a hot day in the Caribbean. ABC Kerry Forest/Bull Run.
