Beautifull appearance of amber colour and huge, stable, dense beige-ish off-white head; aroma of pine resin overripe (tropical) fruits, floral and caramel notes; taste is the same; great IIPA

Notable.

On tap at Café Gaspar. Fruity aroma from american hops, with some caramel notes. Medium body, fruity, balances biterness and freshnes, some grassy notes, and caramel in the aftertaste. Good.

In short: A boozy and resinous amber IPA. Too harsh.
How: Bottle 330ml consumed fresh a few days after purchase from a Spanish beer store.
The look: Muddy amber body topped by a persistent small beige head leaving lots of lacings on the glass.
In long: The very hoppy nose is mostly resinous with fruity and leafy notes and their is also some boozy fumes going the burnt plastic way. Body is thick and juicy with a medium carbonation. Taste is very harsh. Chewy cake malts, caramel, cookies, sticky hops resin, too much booze. Very harsh finish with brutal combination of bitterness and alcohol burn. Yes it is tasty but it is way too brutal, drinkability is pretty low. A beer named after the number of the beast adjusted for inflation.

33cl bottle from teddybeer, Euro local swap 6. Thanks!! Bottled on 1/8/2013. Pours mahogany color, dense, thick off-white head. Malty, heavy aroma, some dark fruits, thinner and caramel. Flavor has faded hops, caramel, grapefruit, wood. Finish is slightly alcoholic and very bitter. Drinkable, but not in best shape anymore.
