201209 Draught at brewery. Smooth soft palate, aroma grass, hops. Body is unfiltered. Taste is malty with apparent hoppy flavor. Overall one of their best beer and easily drinkable.

Draught. Sweet and very malty, a cloudy orange body with a lacing white head. Light grassy hop component under heavy honey and even some marshmallow. Medium body. On the sweet side, for sure.

Draught. Hazy orange gold with a thin head. Aroma is light herbal hop . Flavour has a thin caramel with a fine grain malt base. Palate is dry toffee.

Meierei Brauhaus, Potsdam. Kissé narancssárgás, mély arany színű, szűretlen világos, jókora tömör fehér habbal, ami ráadásul sokáig kitart. Illatában rengeteg maláta, friss gyümölcsök és jó sok füves komló érződik. Ízvilágától is ezt kapjuk, gyümölcsös édesség, élesztő és a maláta, valamint a komló kiváló egyensúlya, utóízében pedig szinte harapnivaló a jóféle maláta. Testes, érezni, hogy 13 fokos, na meg, hogy nem spóroltak az alapanyagokkal, éppen megfelelően szénsavas és nem annyira száraz. Egyszerű, de nagyszerű ez a Helles, teljesen levett minket a lábunkról. Aki Berlinben jár, az menjen el Potsdamba is, és ha már ott van, feltétlenül keresse fel ezt a sörfőzdét.

Draft @ the brewpub in Potsdam. Dorée, trouble, col épais blanc. Note de malt et houblon pils et fleuri, le tout procure aussi des pointes de fruits exotiques, possibilité de qcq esters et une touche de grains. Ça reste dans le style allemand sauf que bien sur c’est très frais car brassé sur place mais aussi bien fait. Un sans faute pour Meierei qui me plait bien avec ses bières.

On tap in the beer garden. Hazy gold. Fine, subtle bitterness, grain and cereals. Refreshing, just the thing in the sun.

Une pilsner allemande qui a du caractere, reellement bien construite, avec du gout, du grain, du houblon bien present, rien de surprenant mais c’est tres tres bien fait. En meme temps heureusement, elle est brassee sur place, non filtree et fraiche. La couleur est jaune fonce tirant vers le brun, plus foncee que ce qu on trouve d’habitude. Le corps est moyen sur toute la longueur, cette biere est equilibree. J’ai prefere la meme journee la Maerzen, plus subtile. Une des meilleurs pils que j’ai pu boire.

Draught at the brewpub. Color hazy yellow with small head. Aroma bread, grain, flower. Taste grain, flower.

A lovely golden hazy Helles with an appealing white head. Fresh aromas of cereals and hay combined with a hint of floral hop, the taste and body both slightly thin with softish carbonation provide an abrupt finish. Overall its a good sesson beer in an amazing location.

(Draught at the brewpub, Potsdam, 23 July 2010) Golden colour, slightly cloudy, with frothy off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with bread, hay and apricots. Malty, fruity taste with notes of apricots, bread, a touch of citrus and a mild bitterness. Medium body, balanced sweetness. Decent and refreshing.
