3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bügelverschlußflasche: Pale greenish-golden, small white head, woody-aromatic (Saaz?) hoppy nose with a - fortunately - pale-malty background, dryish sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied, low carbonation; lingering woody-hoppy finish with hops sticking to the palate. A fine Píls of - nearly - franconian character. I wonder what kind of bottle MoritzF had sampled…

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. It pours a clear, quite pale golden body and a minimal-sized white head. Grass, hay, pale malts and some spicy hops in the aroma. The flavor has a little bitterness, with pale malts, apples, pears and some spicy hoppyness. Medium body, quite dry. Bitter and fruity finish. A quite decent one, although a bit boring. Wouldn’t mind drinking a few though. 120217

50 cl bottle, BBE 03.04.2012
Very bright but slightly too pale colour. Aroma has lots of butter, some hay and grainy & somewhat bready malt. Unusually bready for a pils. Flavour has bready malt, grassy hops and hints of butter. A bit unusual pils, but decent anyway.
