Body is medium, malty - lightly grainy and sweetish flavor, faint hoppyness. Finish is short to average, malty – lightly grainy and lightly sweetish, faint grassy hoppyness. (bottle, with thanks to pivnizub) Clear, golden colour with a foamy white medium, stable head. Slightly dusty and sweet strawy malty aroma with herbal hops. Light bitter flavour, light to medium body, moderately carbonated mouthfeel. Strawy malty taste with a touch of honey and light notes of vegetables; medium-dry, light bitter finish with shy notes of hops. Not very challenging.

Test vom 21.2.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 11,8,9,8,9,8 - 8,50

It’s light golden with a huge, creamy head, and the aroma is weak with notes of straw, malt and grain. The flavour is moderately sweet with notes of straw, malt, cabbage/cardboard, and the finish is harsh and slightly dry.

Ihave found that most Germanpils are close in the same. They all use the purity law. This was straw in color with a malty nose.Light mouthfeel with a slight bitter finish.
