Great exception! Hops easily noted and the malts too have their own character. So not too balanced. Interesting and enjoyable.

Gr0ve (2157) - Oslo, NORWAY - OCT 19, 2010
330 ml bottle. Hazy amber colour with some small floaties. The floaties I guess come from the rapidly escaping carbonation. Tall coarse white head that falls down quickly. Oily hops aroma, which is clean, but balanced with rounded crisp malty flavours. Velvety texture. Almost buttery texture. Unusual bready malt flavours. Oily on the tongue. Quite enjoyable malt flavours, but the hops are a little unbalanced and harsh.

Bottle. Golden and hazy. Small to average fully diminishing head. Light to moderate malty and sweetish aroma, some wheat and barnyard, light hoppyness. Body is light to moderate, malty and sweetish, bit flat, faint hoppyness. Finish is short and malty, dryish. Nothing special except being organic.

Bottle from Vinmonopolet. Grainy, cereals, sour mash, like a sourdough - it does not work as a beer. For the sandals and lentils brigades only.

berlinoise2go (626) - NORWAY - JUL 21, 2010
Bottle (33cl) from Vinmonopolet, Oslo. Slightly cloudy, pale golden colour. Huge, lively white head, diminishing quickly. Interesting aroma - acidic, peppery with notes of yeast, hops and malt. Taste is on the sour side (wit-like citrus), but is nicely balanced by some ’darker’ earthy elements; discreet sweetness and bitterness. Fizzy carbonation, light/medium body. Dry hop bitterness in the finish.
