Bottle from the alison arms at home. Aroma is malty, ameber ale almost, bready biscuity, richer malts, grassy hops backing. Taste is also malt based, quite sweet, very drinkable and very appealing indeed.

A Mes rate: 50cl bottle at Quinns
Rich amber brown with a decent off white head. Corn and cereal aroma with some sweet German malt and a really nice smoky hint. Slight metal and an odd fishy note in the flavour spoils the really nice malt and the light bitterness in the finish. So so.

Bottled - Pigs Ear BF. An amber coloured beer with an off-white puddle of head. The aroma is malty and a bit dry. Wood and sweet malts in the taste. Hints of alcohol and sweet finish. Quite nice

Bottle at Pig’s Ear BF 08. Deep russet, no head. Fruity German beer. Too cold, but a really lovely fruity lager. Nice, very drinkable.

Bottle from Landbierparadies, Nurnberg 10/11/07. Reddish-amber with a big off-white head and slight carbonation. Caramel malt aroma. Flavour of dough with a dusting of chocolate, and some cinnamon with a short dry finish. Good.
