Country ticking in Malaysia, woohoo! Unfortunately, multiple cans on Pulau Mantanani. Clear pale golden, white head. Aroma is already a warning, skunk and wet paper. Flavour is pretty much the same, very fizzy, lots of wet paper/cardboard. A waste of resources imo. Very bad, headache material.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 Ungstrup (26194) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - OCT 25, 2009
Can. A light golden beer with a thin bubbly orangey head. The aroma has notes of malt and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, alcohol, and metal, leading to a dry alcoholic finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

1.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 omhper (17436) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - APR 10, 2006
UPDATED: APR 24, 2006 Canned. Crappy foul corn aroma. Sweet and heavy on off flavours. I detect metal, vegetables, fat and blood. Oh, so Heineken owns the brewery? That might explain it... The best use for this beer is to water the desert.
1.6 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20 tenghave (402) - Taastrup, DENMARK - MAR 27, 2006
1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20 austinpowers (2827) - New York, New York, USA - JAN 1, 2006
Watery and mild. Meister Lager is an easy-drinking Egyptian beer - probably the wateriest and mildest of the entire Al Ahram line, and I outta know since I tried them all pretty much side-by-side. Pleasantly enjoyable for the lager lover who dislikes hops.

I promise, I will give this beer a fair rating as soon as I find the notes... :-)
