Rciesla (3500), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA Sep 22, 2009 Bottle. Pours a ruby body with a thin pink head. Very sweet with abundant sugar coated cherry notes a light vinous woody character. Sweet and sour thin and refreshing hardly what one would expect via the style lambic but still enjoyable nonetheless. FROTHINGSLOSH (1961), GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 7, 2009 Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright beet red color with a small pink head. the aroma was strong tart and sour cherry. The flavor was tart, tangy and had a strong sour cherry element and a light nutty undertone. The finish was very long tart sour cherry. The body was fairly thick. Excellent. 17thfloor (1402), Chicago, Illinois, USA Jul 24, 2009 Well... I assume this will be retired soon, so I snatched mine off the shelf to give it a try. Pours an absolutely gorgeous dark purplish red with a super thick dense creamy pink head with lovely silky lacing. Aroma of pure cherry juice. Flavor follows, fantastic cherries, sweet but not in a syrupy way like Lindemans, more like New Glarus. Light tartness and acidity that compliments that sweetness very well. Medium bodied with really nice crisp fine sparkling carbonation, not really syrupy either. Vertical Bacon Strips (874), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada Jun 28, 2009 Poured out a lovely large, puffy, rosy purple head, awesome deep red colour with decent retention and some sticky lacing. Aroma of fresh cherries, very sweet, yeast , a touch of earth?? and spearmint?????. Drink on the colder side as I found taht it lost some of the aroma when on the warm side. Tastes of fresh, sour cherries and yeast - not to complex, with a very dry sour taste. Great carbonation, interesting bitterness that has made my mouth water, a nice sourness that blends nicely with the bitterness. McGarnigle (302), Rochester, New York, USA Jun 22, 2009 Love the bottle shape and old timey label. Dark red beer with pink head, big cherry aroma. Soda pop texture, but more tart than cherry pop. Is there a beer in there somewhere? Possibly, but it’s deep in the background. Flavor is nice and strong and long. Refreshing for summer, but too expensive to use as a sessions beer. zach8270 (2051), Henrietta, New York, USA Jun 12, 2009 (bottle - 12 oz) Ruby red pour with a light pink head. Aroma is rich cherry flavor. Slightly sweet and sour. Flavor is sweet with a good amount of cherries at the start. Smooth transition to a lightly sour cherry middle and a very sweet and smooth finish. Very, very tasty. Cirrhosis (607), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada Jun 11, 2009 "Deep pure red body with a fluffy light pink cap, this brew looks good but very girly for a fruit beer its perfect. Phenomenal smelling brew the cherry is coming through strong and sweet without being fake, the more I smell the less sweet it is and it becomes more of a sour metallic aroma the malt can be detected but its very mild. Tasty so very tasty I’m drooling between sips, sweet and sour, tons of cherry. This goes down so easy so smooth and very clean it’s not disgustingly sweet like other cherry beers bellview creek is destroyed by this. Must go buy more of this so dam good best fruit beer I’ve ever had." blutt59 (2042), Dallas, Texas, USA May 7, 2009 bottle, pinkish color with good foam, sweet fruity aroma, flavor is a likeable cherry soda with some more depth, age to it,
