2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 6/20
375ml bottle, BB 21Jan10 2109 1 Rating from 2010:
Hellgelb im Glas. Im Aroma zwischen einem Bitter und einem Lager. Durch die 4% etwas wässrig. Leicht getreidig-süßlich, im Ende etwas herber, dabei auch leicht hopfenaromatisch. Nett.

2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
Poured at a good temperature with a mammoth, thick, foamy, frothy, billowy, off-white head (suspect foaming agents) and lots of lace. Color is a clear yellow. Aroma reminds me of a common lager with a bit o hop. Flavor’s like nose, bitter, sweet, and tang are actually fairly balanced, adjuncts are present, as are off flavs, body/carbonation are soft. Finish is like flavor. I just want to get it over.

1.6 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
A slightly sweeter brew than most pale lagers. There is a little fruitiness in the aroma and taste. A pale light brown colour with an off white head. Better than the average Australian draught, but still a mass produced brew

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Poured straight from a can, a medium-golden yellowish hue, very little head, very clear. Although they call it a bitter, it’s truly a pale australian lager in style. There’s a definite fruity yeasty aroma that comes forth, a little grassy, some light cracker. Flavor is pretty straightforward, slightly malty, a little light biscuit, no distinguishing hop flavors or aroma. Somewhat of a watery finish, a fair bit of bitterness rounds out whatever sweetness there is. An average pale lager at best, and definitely better than a few other mass produced lagers from Oz.

Pours clear amber with a small white head. Smells of malt and hay and tastes pretty similar.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
375ml bottle. Clear amber colour, foam white head leaving alittle lacing and aroma of malt, grain, abit metallic. Taste is malt, grain, corn, sweetish & slightly fruity with earthy, cardboard notes and a lingering light bitterness. Light bodied, high carbonation, dry bitter finish. Standard bland pale lager.

0.7 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20
UPDATED: AUG 7, 2013 If you’re dying of thirst its worth a punt - tasteless, horrendous excuse for a beer. It’s worse than Carlton Draught, which is something I didn’t believe was possible. Have some mouthwash handy.

1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
Poured orange and needed vigorous encouragement to form a loose white head that dissapated quickly. Aroma wheet, cardboard, and something unpleasantly sour. Tast bready and simple, nothing else. Palate water, thin, little carbonation, almost no finish. Will not drink again.

2.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
As much as it sucks I personally believe it's the best beer CUB produce. As watery as it is I like its balance and love to just drain 1 or 2 on a hot day or after work
