COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This product displays the fullness and balance of CUB's traditional lagers. The fruity/yeasty aroma and increased bitterness produces a tasty drop.

If VB is known as the Green Death, This is the Red Death......Horrid stuff, I would rather drink light beer

750ml Bottle - No really aroma, very little taste - bit metallic and lost its head as soon as poured. Had that same candy sweet finish I get from VB.

A passable beer. A mans beer. You’re probably better off being pissed before you start drinking this

Glass from 750ml bottle. What’s to say, really? Pours a fairly standard clear lager gold, with a decent enough head for a beer of such low calibre. Nothing much discernible on the nose, but there is perhaps some stale bread and a slight metallic note. The taste is in typical pale lager territory, being extremely bland. Some dough in the mid-section and a slight, artificial-feeling, hops taste at the end. The palate is exceptionally watery. Yet another dull macro pale lager.

355mL thanks to Brev. Rating #100 for this beer! Pour is clear copper with good white lace. Aroma of sugar, toast, caramel, clean malt. Taste is sweet, some caramel fullness. Actually not bad at all. No brewing flaws. Unoffensive.

From a 375ml bottle on 23/10/2010. It’s not uncommon to hear people arguing about whether this is better than VB. Which is kinda funny because they’re both equally shite. Has a very slight stale smell. In the mouth, it’s all metallic chemicals, a bit of sweetness, followed by a short, sharp though not altogether pleasant bitterness at the end. Yet another shocker from CUB.

Bottle 375ml. Not good, Aroma of straw, and also detergent. Taste is sweet. Palate is thin and watery. Yellow colour, bubbly, with a frothy head.
