COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottled.
We have captured the mouth-watering summer flavours of Glen Ample raspberries by cold pressing the berries to extract their juice. Cold pressing takes time, but it preserves the sweet, vibrant flavours of freshly picked strawberries and makes juice that is far superior to mass produced cocentrates. We then blend this juice with a special beer brewed only with British malt, hops, yeast and water.

Bottle quality save. Aroma is raspberry. Hazy red colour halo white head. Taste is sweet raspberry jam some malts and ok tart bitter finish. Medium body. Decent.

Bottle from Tesco. Poured a bright pink, with a light pink head that rapidly dissipated like a soda. Aroma of raspberry syrup, some candy sugar and straw in there. Flavours were dominated by similar fake raspberries. I didn’t find this to be totally undrinkable, but only because I quite like raspberry flavour.

Hazy dark pink pour with a fairly minimal head that leaves a ring of lace after mere seconds. Smells like raspberry concentrate with just the barest hint of beer underneath. Moderately sweet palate with a nice texture but that’s about the best part of this beer. It tastes mostly like raspberries, more fresh than the concentrate on the nose but there’s really nothing else going on here.

Pink, slightly hazy beer with a thin, filmy head. As you’d expect, raspberry is the main aroma and flavour but it’s balanced a lot better than these beers often are. It’s not sugary and sickly and beneath the raspberry flavour it does still taste like beer. Not something I’d want a lot of but the odd one on a sunny day would do nicely.

275 ml bottle. Pours a clear pale red with a small, short lived pink head. Strong, sweet raspberry aroma. Sweet flavour of sugary raspberry. Light body with a sticky, watery texture and soft carbonation.

Appearance: Clear red/pink with pinky 2 finger thick head. Aroma: Raspberry, biscuit, pepper, grassy. Taste: Medium bitterness with low/medium sweet and sourness. Palate: Thick coarse texture, light body, average carbonation, abrupt raspberry, and then bitter finish. Comments: Tasty enough and refreshing, with a glass lace.

Pours a clear pinkish color with a fizzy white head. Aroma of raspberries and sweet sugar. Taste is much of the same and and like the strawberry one except the raspberries are more natural tasting rather than a concentrate bit the sweetness still dominates any beer characteristics.

Pours red, little head. Aroma of a raspberry lager, not sickly fake flavour smell either. Taste is not too overly raspberry, more of a hint of....but I really enjoyed it, not too sweet, still retains the beer flavout ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Orangish-pinkish hue, thin white head that vanishes in less than two minutes. Sugary raspberry jam flavour, corn syrup sweetness. There is malt here, but this comes close to alcopop territory in its sugariness.

Strong raspberry aroma with a hint of hop, bright red with minimal head, great raspberry taste with slight sour, very enjoyable
