COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
bottled, regular
We have captured the mouth-watering summer flavours of strawberries by cold pressing the berries to extract their juice. Cold pressing takes time, but it preserves the sweet, vibrant flavours of freshly picked strawberries and makes juice that is far superior to mass produced cocentrates. We then blend this juice with a special beer brewed only with British malt, hops, yeast and water.

pink in color with rosy head. lots of fruit on the nose. strong taste of fermented strawberries. Stawberry tastes very authentic which is a big plus. Not for those looking for a subtle fruit flavoured beer. closer to a cooler alternative (but a good one).

when i saw it in the shop strawberry lager i though not for me bet its horrid BUT its not its very nice with its slight strawberry arom you still don’t fancy it until you taste it . its like a dream to drink the taste of strawberry is a natural taste not artificial . its pours a dark golden colour with a definite pink tinge and the head soon disappears but its about the taste and i love it ! and only 79P a bottle !

Was uncultured and drank from the bottle so don’t know as to colour but was tasty, like strawberry jam which is weird as it says strawberry lager but it’s definitely for the fruit beer/Belgian fan. Nothing like an actual beer/lager. It was slightly carbonated but I don’t know about lacing. Had a good mouth feel to it. Bottle at home bargains. You get what you pay for.

Bottle from Tesco. Is it a beer? Is it an alco-pop? Well, technically I believe that it is a beer, but not that you’d probably guess if it were a blind tasting. It poured a cloudy, bright pink with no lasting head. Aroma was strawberry sweets, sugar and not much else. Flavours were similar; saccharine fakeness to the whole thing. I’m quite sure that the target market for this was people who don’t like beer...

Appearance: Clear amber with 2 finger thick beige head. Aroma: Strawberry, musky, sweets. Taste: Medium sweet and sourness with low/medium bitterness. Palate: Thick grainy texture, light body, average carbonation, lingering strawberry, dry, bitter finish. Comments: Very tasty and refreshing with a glass lace.

275 ml bottle. Pours a hazy pink with a very small white head. Strong strawberry aroma. Overly sweet strawberry flavor. Tastes more like a cooler than a beer.

Pours a clear pinkish color with a small fizzy white head. Aroma is dominated by sweet strawberry juice and sweet sugar. Taste is much of the same as its sweet strawberry candy... Not much to see here as its not beer at all but rather a cooler.

[Bottle (275ml)] Pours a deep pinkish-orange with an average size diminishing fluffy off-white head. Whoa, the aroma is a mix of strawberry candy and strawberry jam, there’s no beer quality to it at all -- it doesn’t smell bad per se I just wish it resembled beer more. Sweet strawberry flavour along with some honey and grain -- it’s more of a strawberry Pop then a beer. It’s a bit watery and not overly cloying which helps a little. Average bodied. If you like this sort of thing there are worse examples out there but it’s not something I will have again.

Pours clear with a rose tinge and a small white fizz. Aroma is sweet strawberry juice. Taste is not quite as sweet or as fruity as I was expecting. More subdued which leads me to like it less.

Artificial strawberry scent. Refreshing light beer that tastes of strawberry syrup with absolutely no hop unfortunately. It doesn’t necessarily taste bad, but being sold as a beer seems futile given that it just tastes like strawberry juice with carbonation added.
