Bottled 25cl, vintage 2007. Grazie Piero: pours without head, aroma leggiadro, very solid and complex beer. Me la sono bevuta con una stellina di cioccolato artigianale (mix fondente/latte), ci stava bene. La confezione un po’ pacchiana

UPDATED: SEP 22, 2010 2007 Vintage bottle 323/365. Mille Grazie, Lorenzo e Gianluca!! Near inexistant head, over fully opaque dark beer. Vinous nose, strong blue cheese, some vinegar. Complex, but very closed. Chocolate, wood, ink and very dry. Less difficult, if as closed as the nose. Faint acids and less faint fusels; some fruity notes and very wine-ish in the end. Very slick, and yet a bit watery in the finish, the alcohol thinning. Oily. Pretty impressively complex & vinous, but severe and ending thinnish.
2008 vintage Nearly no head, totally opaque muddy-brown beer (4/5) Wood, chocolate, tanninnes, fusels, ink, some hops. Very discreet but not less complex for that. (8/10) Chocolate, coriander, sweet; fusels, sweet-fruity with a dark, complex background. (7/10) Very slick, oily, well-bodied. (4/5) Less severe than the 2007 version, but the coriander flavour shocked me a bit. Nonetheless - for the rest it is excellent. (14/20) Mille grazie for the try, Gianluca!
