Bov (9876) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - JUL 7, 2003
clear dark amber colour, few foam, estery, malty aroma, tart, decent malt body, reasonable bitterness, long malty and slightly fruity finish - this beer has a pleasant subtility

[Draught] Golden colour. This brew is slightly bitter and metallic. It is drinkable, but I will not pay for it.

Thank God I got this for free. It is not worth buying. It is however still the best Italian beer i've had. That reveals something about Italy.

Amber colour. Good malt flavour and some sweetness in it. Light bitter in the aftertaste. Pleseant italian beer.

fiulijn (15378) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 9, 2002
Amber colour. Simple aroma and flavour. The taste is a little more malty and sweeter than the Bionda, but also a bit metallic; the palate is firmly bitter, as the Bionda.

Ungstrup (29954) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - SEP 8, 2002
UPDATED: JUN 13, 2003 A beutiful amber color but without much head. It has no aroma but a flavor of hops and a good malt blend. ------- it again - not as good as the first time

austinpowers (2826) - New York, New York, USA - AUG 3, 2002
UPDATED: NOV 18, 2005 A pleasant, malty flavor. Much more interesting than the regular Menabrea Birra. Fairly dark in color - rather copperish. A bit sweet in taste and quite nice, especially for an Italian brew. Dry finish.
