A well-balanced beer with a marked floral fruitiness coming through from the aromatic yeasts used in its production. 11.8P

12oz bottle pours a dark clear Amber/brown with a large khaki head. Aroma of toffee, caramel, and raisins. Taste similar to aroma with some wet papery yeast on the finish. Pretty sweet, better than I expected.

66 cl bottle@home in straight glass@approx 6 degrees C. Pours a deep amber with ivory head. OK retention. Aroma of malt, bread and caramel with hardly any hop. Toasty, malty taste. Mildly sweet with a hint of bread with a little addition of hoppy bitterness in the aftertaste. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Drinkable and much better than the Menebrea Bionda in my taste.

On tap in Naples. This beer is full of Brett. A very good example if you have never tried it. I like the lambic style but this one is missing freshness.

Flaska från Paolos örebro. Bärnstensfärgad med luftigt vitt skum. Otäck kemisk doft. Söt och lite maltig.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 2B). Bottle 33 cl - Batch P161. AROMA: mild grainy aroma (corn) with notes of caramel and some toffee. no hop aroma. APPEARANCE: amber color and translucent. medium ivory head with average retention. TASTE: slight sweet and toasty flavour with some faint caramel. moderate-low bitterness with a balanced semi-sweet finish. PALATE: medium-light body with moderate carbonation. OVERALL: an average amber lager with the traditional lager drinkability that should dump the corn.

Bottle, 0.33l. Clear amber color with medium off-white head and average sparkling appearance. Aroma is grainy, floral, yeasty with notes of honey. Taste starts with moderate sweet caramel, following is bready and mild herbal, while finish is mild bitter. Medium body, thin texture and average carbonation in palate. Decent anniversary brew...

Clear amber color, white small white head. Aroma is honey and caramel with addition of vegetables. Taste is some unusual fruit, couldn’t detect which. Thin to medium body, soft carbonation. Close to drinkable than enjoyable.
(Vrutak 0,33l bottle)
