Draught at 28 Erbe, Genova. Golden with thin white head. Faint nose of malt and citrus. Flavour is malt and citrusy hops. Rather one dimensional all round but it does taste pretty clean. Refreshing if nothing else.

Bottle from Italy. Pours a very bright pale yellow color, with a frothy white head, that actually partially sticks around. Aroma is of grains, slight amount of grassy and citrussy hops, but overall fairly weak. Flavour is grainy with some grassy and citrussy notes. I get a slightly foral notes aswell, but it is very faint. Body is light and watery. Overall a refreshing beer, that would be good for quenching your thirst on a hot summers day. Not anything special, but average.

michael-pollack (4960) - King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 21, 2010
Bottle: Aroma of pale malts and a hint of hops. Poured yellow/gold in color with a small, off-white head that diminished but lasted around the edges. Clear. Very sparkling. Flavor is lightly sweet. Tastes of pale malt, grains, and hops. Light body. Lightly dry texture. Average carbonation. Pale malt and hop finish. A great gift with a great meal.

heavy (2270) - Split, CROATIA - DEC 26, 2009
21/12 A 0.66l bottle from a random shop in San Remo, I think. Anyway, it poured golden body with small head. Stinky malty aroma, grainy with some honey. Malty pale lager in flavor as well, eggs, honey/cornflakes and similar typical things. Medium body. Somewhat of herbal hop bitterness is present in the finish which was more sweet anyway, but it raises my opinion on this brew slightly. Not really good anyway.

0.66l bottle from somewhere in Italy, shared with heavy
Poured a pale golden body with a small white head that went away relatively fast. Very light grainy-honeyish malty nose. Ok nuff. The taste was at the beginning basically crap. grainy and honeyish, empty, notes of soggy cornflakes and cardboard. N/A with alcohol, whoop-dee-doo. The hop present around the back did show some interesting piney qualities and some light yoghurty qualities started to emerge and save the overall impression. Not the best beer you can get, but you can do far worse in Italy.

rakkasan (142) - Bresso, ITALY - NOV 26, 2009
bottle - pours golden-green with a creamy, frothy white head. The aroma is malty with a bit of corn. The flavor is mostly grassy and hoppy. It’s kind of boring like most pale lagers (but that’s just me), but this is by far one of the best macro beers Italy has to offer in this category.

SaintMatty (5861) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - OCT 20, 2009
330ml Bottle - Golden with a white head. Grassy aroma with a hint of citrus. Malty and slightly sweet taste with a faint hint of dry pineapple and a very mild bitterness. Drinkable and refreshing, but not very exciting.

Embrouille (2831) - SWITZERLAND - OCT 15, 2009
Bottled 33cl. It pours a clear pale golden beer with a lacing white head. Some saaz hops accompanied by boiled milk and pale malt in the nose. Strong bitterness in the taste with pineapple, carrot and dried apple showing up. Biscuity pale malts. Reminiscent of Budweiser Budvar. Long dry grassy hoppy finish. Surprisingly good with a great saaz hop profile.
