Bottle tasted on 22 April at Rome. Bright yellow, small foamy white head, fresh fruity flavor, hoppy taste, abrupt finish, doughy aroma, mild carbonation.

Die Schaumkrone hält nur mittelmäßig. Es schmeckt ziemlich stark nach Mais und Hopfen, auch wird es leicht Herb. Fazit: Ok! Test vom 1.6.2009, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 7,7,7,7,9,7 - 7,10

bottle with a best by date 11/08/12 consumed 3/27/12. clear yellow with gold tints and a white head. the aroma and flavor are not bad... because there’s nothing to them... maybe some metal and pils-like graininess. slick texture because the carb is so low.

BlackHaddock (3503) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - APR 16, 2012
Nov 2010: Found this in Cork, Ireland, wish I hadn’t. Green 330ml bottle, impressive looking label and packaging, pity about the bottle contents. The beer was poured into a tumbler and was very, very pale indeed, weak urine yellow with a slight green hue to it. The head however looked lovely for a short while, huge bloom of white bubbles were produced, but they faded quickly to just a collar and wisp. The smell was of corn and maybe some citrusy lemon hints, but very little of anything. I don’t recall any taste and my notes say ’no taste’, it was watery, weak and had nothing going for it bar the initial head display. A typical Italian/Mediterranean light lager, OK for hot sunny days by the beach maybe, but not the beer to have on a cold wet and windy evening in Ireland.

Yellow with a small white head. Weak grainy aroma with a bit of cardboard, and a fruity/grassy note. Sweetish grainy flavour with a firm hoppy bitterness.

Bottle in Genoa, purchased from an Enoteca on the seafront parade. Clear pale gold beer. Good white head. Light dry palate. Clear pale malt, a little minerals. That’s about it! Painfully bland!

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel. Thanks Dror. Clear golden with a white head. Corny aroma of cereals. Sweetish grainy flavor with cardboard. Light-bodied. Not good.

janeriks (10) - KVALØYSLETTA, NORWAY - DEC 9, 2011
Weak aroma; pale, clear, white foam, minimal head (starts large, but diminishes quickly); lightly bitter, lightly sour; light body, thin feel, flat- Looks OK but a bit disappointing - nothing really wrong but nothing to recommend it either.
