Bottle, 66 cl. Clear golden, rich but rather quickly disappearing head. Sweet malty aroma, straw, faint grass. Papery flavor, cereals, sugary malts, straw, harsh hops. Technically perfect, extremely boring lager.

From bottle in Monteaperti (Italy) @ hotelbar. Clear golden color, with good white gead. Aroma malts, sweet. Light to medium body. Taste malts, bit sweet, hop notes and a little dry finish. Not bad.

Bottle, bought @ Italia, Aarhus. Clear pale golden with a small, white film head. Aroma is sweet, malty, maize, metal. Medium carbonation, dryish mouthfeel. Flavour has mild malts, quite citric and sharpish dry bitter. Rather uninteresting.

66 cl bottle, 1.45€, 4.8%. Pale gold to yellow color, soft white head. Nose is softly hoppy and lagerish, appreciated. Aroma is moderately malty with corn and soft grassy hoppiness. Some paper\cardboard on the bad side. Taste is crisp, leaning to a discreet bitter end. Body is light, fizzy, a bit dusty, an abrupt dry finish follows. Overall in this one the corn is spot-on, similar to Forst in many aspects, more direct and sharp probably. Fresh fizzy all-round italian beer without any particular feature. A good one considering its market range.

Die Schaumkrone hält nur mittelmäßig. Es schmeckt ziemlich stark nach Mais und Hopfen, auch wird es leicht Herb. Fazit: Ok! Test vom 1.6.2009, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 7,7,7,7,9,7 - 7,10

bottle with a best by date 11/08/12 consumed 3/27/12. clear yellow with gold tints and a white head. the aroma and flavor are not bad... because there’s nothing to them... maybe some metal and pils-like graininess. slick texture because the carb is so low.

Nov 2010: Found this in Cork, Ireland, wish I hadn’t. Green 330ml bottle, impressive looking label and packaging, pity about the bottle contents. The beer was poured into a tumbler and was very, very pale indeed, weak urine yellow with a slight green hue to it. The head however looked lovely for a short while, huge bloom of white bubbles were produced, but they faded quickly to just a collar and wisp. The smell was of corn and maybe some citrusy lemon hints, but very little of anything. I don’t recall any taste and my notes say ’no taste’, it was watery, weak and had nothing going for it bar the initial head display. A typical Italian/Mediterranean light lager, OK for hot sunny days by the beach maybe, but not the beer to have on a cold wet and windy evening in Ireland.
