Ingredients: Malt; maize; hops.
A well-balanced beer with a marked floral fruitiness coming through from the aromatic yeasts used in its production. Pale yellow appearance; moderately light bodied; mild bitterness.

330ml bottle (expiry 5/09). Clear golden liquid with a small transient head. Hardly anything on the nose (slightly hoppy). Sweet on the palate with an unpleasant metallic finish. Insubstantial body. A bland lager.

Doppelganger (1383) - Dry County, Arkansas, USA - OCT 12, 2008
Bottle, from Phil_l, via Beer Merchants. Thanks Phil! Pale yellow, white head with some decent lace. Nose is chalk, grassy hops, husky lager malt, a little skunk. Flavor is dry torrified grain and husky sourness with a slight bile quality. Decent weedy hop backdrop. Not as vapid as most beers that get lumped into the pale lager category.

Bottle. Dense mostly lasting white head. Straw yellow body. Clean, fairly dry and grainy malt aroma. Hayish hops in the background. Taste is well balanced, has a moderatly sweet and quite crisp grainy maltiness, a lemony fruitness and some noble hops down below. Light to medium body. Sugar notes in the finish. Approved!

UPDATED: DEC 6, 2008 this had a bit of a skunk taste to it. It wasnt too shabby but not one of my favorites. better than the 150 anniversary by far.
