66cl bottle, 5.2%, 1.90€. Wonderful red color with a big smooth offwhite head. Quiet nose. Aroma is roasted malts, some caramel and syrup. Taste sweetish, salty with a soft bitter end. Sticky lips, light to medium body, average carbonation. Nice one for an italian industrial product.

Caramel, red fruits, amber with beige head, light body, medium carbonation, taste is similar to the aroma...a strange industrial way to celebrate your christmas.

Noget tyndt sjask.

Having this in mid-winter New Zealand. Nice nuttiness and raisiny notes. I see menabrea as the Monteiths of Italy; dependable good drinking, if a little bit similar and predictable across the range.

Bottle from CIBI E Vini, Copenhagen - amber pour with white head. Sweet toasty malty aroma and taste, some caramel, some faint spices, watery consistency, not bad but pretty bland.

5.2% a big 600 ml bottle for a few euros at Eataly. It pours a clear mahogany with a thick foamy beige head. The nose is biscuity malts, the taste is boring but good: nutty caramel biscotti grainy but overall pretty good it just doesn't really say Christmas more hello I am a nice macro brown ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at Mother, Copenhagen. Poured a clear Medium amber with a frothy white head and some broken lace. The aroma is malty, light red berry fruit. The flavour is moderate sweet light bitter with a light yeast light sweet malt fruit mineral palate. Moderate to light bodied with soft carbonation. A little light and lacks defining flavours.

400ml from tap at Mother, Kødbyen in Copenhagen. Clear dark brown coloured body. Tiny beige head. Kirchenfenster to the glassware. Light smell of caramel and cinnamon. Taste of brown malts, dried fruits and season spices. Soft and clean in the mouth. Okay with the pizza at the restaurant (27.11.2014).

0.66l bottle. This is a crystal clear deep golden one with a light almost fluffy off-white medium sized head. It has a somewhat strong almond nose with pilsner ish qualities. Mushrooms with a little bit of butter, light sweetness and metallic undertones. Not to impressive on the nose really. The taste isn’t really all that much to screen hurrah about either. Again, it’s light metallic in a way, almost copperish with almond essence, thin watered down red fruits, some detergent soapy thing - all wrapped in to a light oily mouthfeel with a just above average carbonation level. I’m no huge fan of these kinds of Christmas beers. Surprised to see that this is an ale. 14.11.2013
