Etwas fruchtiger Abgang, leicht malzig, angenehm. Test vom 11.3.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 6,9,10,9,6,9 - 8,70

Good, just yellowish dense head over golden beer. Bit milky, grainy nose, green leaves. Bitterish, but with a very malty sweetness omnipresent. Spritzy to fizzy carbonation; hints at CO² acidity; light body, bit of gristslickness. Hmmpfff. IMO, there’s something missing in a beer that needs the carbonation in order to achieve some balance. Txs for bringing over, Hans B!

Bottle. Golden with a slight white head and moderate carbonation. Solid, all-round pils, tending to the malty, with a moderately bitter finish. Ok.

Bottled 660ml. -Pale golden coloured, big (huge) bubbles of carbonation, airy white head that went away fast, cornflakes in the nose. Empty, dry salty water with minimal notes of malt and corn. Typical Italian crappy 0.66l lager.

Bottle looks simple, but good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts mild, modest spicy-hoppy, a bit grasy. Finish well balanced, still mild. Surprisingly good. Thanks to my friends Fiene and Marcel for this one!

Bottle 66cl shared by Calisky, a clear yellow beer with low head. Nose is corny like. Aroma is on grain, corn sugar, wet paper, nutty, medium body, sweet, but poor aroma.

Bottle from Matkroken Natland, Bergen. Pours a pale yellow clear body with a small white head. Nose is strong sweet malt syrupy maize tones with hints of nuts and straw. Taste is sweet corn, pale malts, syrup and hints of floral honey tones. Light body, medium carbonation. Too sweet, but otherwise there’s nothing wrong with this one (at least not for being what it is).

Mine does not say original, it says italia birra. Drank directly from a bottle and it looks like pale lager. Weird processed aroma. Sweeter, old lager feel with some interesting background, if I put it in a nice way. Pretty good sizzle. A little cagey at times, you know like wew. Its OK for 4.5% but it is a little rude for a pale lager. If alky content was any more, it may induce a gag reflex. It must be a little old, thats all I can figure. Not as good as some other pale lager italy beers I’ve had. Hey, I’m a pale lager liker and this is a little below average, I guess I would feel differently if it was fresh.
