COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We have been driven by our passion for brewing high-quality hand-crafted ales since we started in 1983 as the first brewpub in California since prohibition. Over the past three decades we honed our skills to master the art of creating Legendary Ales. To celebrate 30 years as Pioneers in the American Craft Brewing Renaissance, we present a Limited Edition of three Anniversary Ales that pay homage to the heart of beer - Hops. Our first Anniversary Ale honors the Cascade hop that started it all and changed the way people view American Craft Beer. This hop has an intense floral with a spice and clean finish. We brewed this Pale Ale with multiple additions of Cascade during the boil, then topped it off with generous dry-hopping to give you an exceptional experience. Savor this Limited Edition Anniversary Pale Ale, the first of three unique ales that will herald our celebrations. This is an ale 30 years in the making - You deserve the best.

Don't miss this one. A west coast Two-Hearted. This beer is not to be missed. Each component speaks out but its expertly balanced.

Pours a pretty coppery amber with a thick and frothy buff head that takes its leave slowly. Aroma is not strong, but has OK fruity and hoppy notes. Flavor is a little bolder, hoppy with notes of both citrus and pomme fruits. Texture, though, seems thin and lacks fizz. Still, a toast to Mendocino’s 30th anniversary - and may they continue to brew at least another 30 years. At least.

Bottle. Poured two fingers of head on a clear, straw colored body. The aroma is a nice grapefruit aroma. One sided, makes sense for a single hop ale though. The taste has a moderate, but soft, pine and grapefruit bitterness. The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation. I likes the Cascade.

22oz bottle 6/26/14 (Binny’s Naperville)-42° in Shaker-Pours a murky amberish orange with a loose off white head. Aroma of citrus and malt. Taste of hops and malt. This light to medium bodied brew is well balanced and goes down smooth.

Slight malty an slight bitterness hops come from this redy orangy hazy brew with a small white head. I get a slight sweet and malty taste with a mild bitterness with a bitter and sweet aftertaste. It’s a medium body with good carb. Worth a try. Kinda dry.

Hazy gold pour with a tall, off-white head. Big citrus hop aroma. The flavor is mostly hop bitterness with malt sweetness in a support role. Decent beer.

So that’s what cascade tastes like. Turns out it’s in almost every IPA. This was very good, on the bitter side. Lots of floaties. Grapefruit, a bit floral, orange peel.

650ml bottle, unsure of date. HAzed amber in color, nice lacing. Lots of floaties. Flavor is lime zest, dry and bitter. Not a huge amount going on, does seem a bit stale.
