3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a copper color. Medium retention and strong lacing. Smell is faint and only smells of sweet malt and some hops. Very citrus tasting. Lots of pineapple and hops. Slight malty sweetness. Good mouth feel. No real good long lasting taste. Goes away rather quickly. Good beer, but was hoping for more from an Anniversary Edition.

Bottle. Poured two fingers of head on a clear, straw colored body. The aroma is a nice grapefruit aroma. One sided, makes sense for a single hop ale though. The taste has a moderate, but soft, pine and grapefruit bitterness. The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation. I likes the Cascade.

Don't miss this one. A west coast Two-Hearted. This beer is not to be missed. Each component speaks out but its expertly balanced.

22oz bottle 6/26/14 (Binny’s Naperville)-42° in Shaker-Pours a murky amberish orange with a loose off white head. Aroma of citrus and malt. Taste of hops and malt. This light to medium bodied brew is well balanced and goes down smooth.

So that’s what cascade tastes like. Turns out it’s in almost every IPA. This was very good, on the bitter side. Lots of floaties. Grapefruit, a bit floral, orange peel.

650ml bottle, unsure of date. HAzed amber in color, nice lacing. Lots of floaties. Flavor is lime zest, dry and bitter. Not a huge amount going on, does seem a bit stale.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a pretty coppery amber with a thick and frothy buff head that takes its leave slowly. Aroma is not strong, but has OK fruity and hoppy notes. Flavor is a little bolder, hoppy with notes of both citrus and pomme fruits. Texture, though, seems thin and lacks fizz. Still, a toast to Mendocino’s 30th anniversary - and may they continue to brew at least another 30 years. At least.

Slight malty an slight bitterness hops come from this redy orangy hazy brew with a small white head. I get a slight sweet and malty taste with a mild bitterness with a bitter and sweet aftertaste. It’s a medium body with good carb. Worth a try. Kinda dry.

Hazy gold pour with a tall, off-white head.
Big citrus hop aroma.
The flavor is mostly hop bitterness with malt sweetness in a support role.
