COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Deep golden amber in color, our Oktoberfest is brewed with generous blends of imported malt and hops. This Limited Edition Lager is delightfully balanced and very smooth. A perfect complement to autumn!

Bottled. Poured clear light-medium orange with a short dusting of off-white head. The aroma picked up sweet, lightly-toasted caramel, candy, and light fruits with a soft and welcoming appeal. The flavor was very sweet, with toasted caramel and lighter fruits at the base.. aged leafy floral and herbal bitterness extend toward the finish.. but still too sweet throughout.. caramel and light herbal notes at the finish. Light-plus bodied and sweet on the palate with decent bitter complements. Sweet and relatively simple, yet a smooth, tasty, easy-drinking brew.

On tap at Barclay’s in Berkeley, CA. Pours a dull amber with gold edges and lasting tan head. Nice strength aroma of dark fruitiness, roasted malts, mild caramel and faint spices. The taste is similar to the aroma with prunes, dates and plums mixed with roasted malts and sweet caramelized malts. Nice rich malty offering of the style. The sweetness does build up a bit but not bad at all for the style.

Bottle courtesy of kmweaver. Pours copper with a white head. Smells of caramel, some appley hints. Tastes of caramel, some spice, hints of resiny hops, some syrup. Not bad for what it is.

Bottle:   Fiery amber, quite clear, moderate foamy off-white head, decent lacing, light carbonation.   Soft malty nose, seems slightly sweet, a little bit of honeycomb cereal.   Somewhat mealy on the tongue, certainly malty, moderately sweet, clean, with a finish that lingers with sweet malts and a bit of creamed honey.   A pleasant sweet lager.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate, even smooth and a bit creamy.   Only thing I would say that detracts is its resemblance to a cereal.   Tone down the sweetness a bit and I think then we’ve got something.   Thanks toJah Noth for the bottle!

5/10/10. 12oz bottle into a pint glass. The pour is cloudy red with a small white head. The aroma is huge caramel and grain with distinct oxidized homebrew. The flavor is red roasted malts, caramel, dark fruits, etc... really too much for an Oktoberfest.

Tallahassee, Fl. - New Leaf Market - 12 oz bottle. Dark orange pour with a thin white head that dissipates quickly - very autumn looking. Sweet aroma, with some sweet molasses and brown sugar. Flavor is sweet as well with some brief hints caramel, pumpkin, and molasses. Smooth, clean mouthfeel. Pretty solid.

Nose is mostly toasty with a touch of earthy hops and light metallic notes. Pours amber, decently lasting head, a touch of lace here and there. Nice bright color. Flavor is toasty with light caramel, a touch of bread, and soft earthy hop flavors. A metallic note is noticeable also. Not bad, not that good either.

This pours a clear amber body with a slender head that soon reduces to a ring around the glass. It has a sweet aroma of caramel and juicy fruit. The flavor gets back to the business of an Oktoberfest, having a toasty malt taste with a balancing herbal/earthy bitterness. Not bad.

Bottle. Pours a golden amber body with a white head. Malty body with a cracker toned malt body, waffers, some light bread y yeast tones. A light earth toned hoppiness with some light nuts and floral yeast.
