COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Deep golden amber in color, our Oktoberfest is brewed with generous blends of imported malt and hops. This Limited Edition Lager is delightfully balanced and very smooth. A perfect complement to autumn!

Bottle: Pours a dark amber color with a light head. The nose is toasty with some caramel and juicy plums. A bit of toast, dough and yeast in the flavor with a hint of alcohol and apple in the tail. Decent oktoberfest beer with a little more fruit than I like. Decent balance and a chewy body.

Purchase a single 12-oz bottle at Cellar’s WIne & Spirits in St Paul, Minnesota. Pours a clear copper amber brew with a thick and fast dissolving off-white head that leaves behind a thin white ring and some spotty lacing. Aroma of caramel malt, a touch of toffee, and light butterscotch. Taste is medium bodied, very light carbonation with flavors of caramel malt, a touch of apples, and butterscotch. Finish is semi-sweet malty with a thin bitterness that quickly disappears. An average octoberfest overall.

Brilliant clear reddish copper, decent white head. Nice toasty aroma. Flavor is similiar, with a touch of whole wheat bread and caramel. Also a touch of stale cardboard, too, which was disappointing

dark copper colored body with a light khaki head. The aroma was caramel and leather. There was an earthy soil compnent, that was acutally nice. The taste was caramel and leather with a light earthy finish of leaves. A decent brew that is certainly a good session option.

Bright light copper color with a diminishing light taupe head. LIght caramel and some celery scents. Nice toasted malt start that leads to a watery bitterness. Nice return of the malt in the linger. A touch to bitter for an ideal Oktoberfest, but a nice fall brew.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a medium sized head of foamy fine to medium sized off-white colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a transparent uncarbonated golden brown colored body. The almost non-existant aroma was malty. The semi-thick mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start mediumly tingly at the finish. The mild flavor contained notes of hops and brown malt. Not one that I would likely buy again.

FROTHINGSLOSH (4919) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 26, 2008
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark ruby-caramel color with a small khaki head that faded quickly. The aroma was tangy, sweet and malty with a hint of nut. The flavor was sour, tangy, malty, fruity and a bit vegetal.

Very nice ruby/amber coloured body with a perfect sized tan head. A few bubbles rise from the bottom, but nothing amazing - still a good beer from this brewery - in looks at least. Aroma of fresh grassy hops, nice caramel malt, nuts and some light spices. Medium-bodied; Sharp taste of caramel malt up front fading to a very light hoppy flavour covered up by a potent yet understated metallic twang. Aftertaste shows the malt and light hops more afterwards, leaving some bittering in the palate. Overall, a decent marzen - nothing special, but the looks and immediate tastes are pretty nice. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Norm’s in Vienna, Virginia on 11-November-2007.

Sampled from bottle. Flavor was that of citrus and tart fruit. Flavor was decent enough, and a surprise result from most of the Oktoberfest beers I’ve been having lately.

Mid range quality on this beer. Orange color. Malt in the flavor and aroma. Some caramel, and just a little sweet with some dryness in the finish.
