Oct 13, 2006 Bottled. Pitch black, opaque colour with a thick, longlasting brown head. Aroma is chocolate, roasted malts and some toffee. Also a bit spices. Flavour is spices, caramel, roasted malts and coffee. Some slight bitterness in finish. It feels slightly sweet and the palate is quite thin. Good stout, but nothing very exciting.
