The flavor is slightly acidic stemming from the roasted malt, but also sweet and with notes of malt, and a burnt edge. Medium body with notes of dry, lightly burned and somewhat ashy malt, with an underlying fruity edge. Lightly burned, bitter finish. Roasted flavour of liquorice and chocolate. oh6gdx (6332), Vaasa, Finland Oct 13, 2006 Bottled. Pitch black, opaque colour with a thick, longlasting brown head. Aroma is chocolate, roasted malts and some toffee. Also a bit spices. Flavour is spices, caramel, roasted malts and coffee. Some slight bitterness in finish.
