phishpond417 (166), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA May 11, 2008 Pours a dark but clear copper colour. Huge flowing white head. Strong hoppy, floral woodsy aromas. Plenty of citrus fruits, soft caramel, piney with a long acidic finish. gueuze_is_god (42), Graham, North Carolina, USA May 6, 2008 Nice rich amber color, brilliantly clear with no sediment. Smells yeasty and bready, some phenolic band aid, maybe some orange rind? Nice mild taste, moderately hoppy, good bitters in the finish, slight alcohol in the nostrils. Almost a biere de garde. Got this for 6.99 a sixer, a real deal considering how much good micros have gone up in price lately. In my book, meets the threshold for drinkability and enjoyment. Would make a great session beer without tiring the palate. Worth buying. Nucci (21), cullowheee, North Carolina, USA May 4, 2008 golden color/white head with hoppy aroma, taste good and finishes smooth. taste of orange pijiuduzi (8), Beijing, China does not count May 3, 2008 Definitely a bang for your buck. a fairly delicious satisfying ale with 8% ABV. A 6-pack of this and good friends definitely leads to good times.
