bag (86), Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 12, 2008 From bottle... poured dark gold with small head. Malty aroma. Sweet and malty taste with a sticky, bitter finish. Pretty enjoyable, but not my favorite from Mendocino (had this as part of a $28 variety case... probably the most consistently good 4 beers I’ve had from any one variety case). I’d get that case again regardless of whether or not this beer is included.

Taste is malt, honey and a very light hop finish with a touch of alcohol burn on the backend. Medium mouth feel. Pretty boring.
