All in all, this is a good beer. I liked the appearance the most. Orange/Golden color with a white head that dissipated rather quickly. Not a very strong aroma. good beer, taste like fruit.

Jul 18, 2008 Bottle from Whole Foods Market Charlottesville. ABV listed as 8%. Copper pour with a small fizzy head. Caramel molasses aroma. Big caramel taste with a touch of hop bitterness and grain. A little too much on the sweet side.

Jul 17, 2008 Bottle... Poured a dull orange with a thin head. Aroma of plums and tart malt grains. Foamy palate with tart, fruity flavors with some nice barley-malt and some bittering hops. Finishes sweet like caramel.

Jul 13, 2008 Copper color. Aroma dissapates quickly. Nice head and huge lacing. This beer is unique. Carmel flavor to start with and a hop bite that is as special as can be imagined follows. Complex, fullbodied. Sophisticated.

Jun 21, 2008 Had this beer at Mad Mex in Oakland. This is a really great beer on tap. Big sweet malt entry, then finishes with a well balanced hop, not to floral and not too bitter. Nice head, copper color with slight haze.
