COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Peregrine Pilsner is a rich Czech Style Pilsner brewed with the finest Pilsen malt and noble hops from the Saaz region. It is brilliant gold, full bodied with a dense white head and with lively carbonation. With a clean crisp palate, dry finish, delicate lingering floral notes, Peregrine is the pinnacle of what a pilsner should be.

Beer of month club. Gold color. Aromatic for a pils - some lemon, malt. Taste has some malt, caramel and a hoppy finish that makes this more bitter than any pils I can remember - which is good! Not a great beer, but a good one. Easy to drink. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A clear golden body with a fast fading white head. Toasted malts and a bit of fruit in the aroma. A slight bit of corn. Flavor had a nice toasted malt presence. Corn notes were present but not offensive or negative in anyway. Some mild sweetness. A nice smooth drink. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Like most American attempts at Czech-style Pilsners, this one doesnít quite seem to get it, although itís close. The aroma and initial flavor is excellent...fresh, crisp, relatively light-bodied, with both a strong hop presence and a grainy malt, somewhat grassy, in the aroma. I also detect floral notes in the aroma, and I love this. Where it goes slightly (ever so slightly) wrong for me is that the finish is a bit too heavy, and it leaves a heavy, bitter aftertaste, rather than a clean, fresh bitterness. I like the carbonation--contributes to it being fresh. I wish they could retain this beerís aromatic qualities and up-front bitterness while making the finish cleaner tasting. Still very good and Iíd drink again.

Peregrine piss never tasted so good! Oh...pilsner, not piss? Whatever, itís still refreshing and tasty. Golden straw, white beak and plenty of zazzy carbonation. Smells of corn, wheat, caramel, bread and piney citrus hops. A little bitter on the back end but some light caramel sweetness makes this alright drinking.

A rare or new beer from mendo. From a bottle it looks half decent, typical yellow beer. Smell is yeast like and a tad of lemon, just perhaps, but absolutely no skunk on this. . Taste initially makes me think bitter pilsner then it develops a liking to my tongue. Yes, good sizzle and cut on each sip, comes across quite fresh . After a while this bitter near back of throat on tongue thing starts happening. Each new swig is quite satisfying. All the way to the end this bottle intrigues me. Yet, that back of throat thing starts to get medicinal on the finish.

12 ounce bottle from Hayduke that we had together via facebook chat. This pours almost clear golden and has a white head. A gob of honey in the aroma. Less honey in the flavor but there is some. More fruity hops and grain. Bitterness. Lemon grass and a hint of mint with rye. My tongue is getting numb from this Pils. A good American version of the style.

12 ounce bottle from Bottle & Wedge, Huntington. Pours a hazy amber color with a medium sized foamy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of sweet cereal grains, nuts, citrus. The taste is citrus, doughy malts, mild grassy hops. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness.
