Peregrine Pilsner is a rich Czech Style Pilsner brewed with the finest Pilsen malt and noble hops from the Saaz region. It is brilliant gold, full bodied with a dense white head and with lively carbonation. With a clean crisp palate, dry finish, delicate lingering floral notes, Peregrine is the pinnacle of what a pilsner should be.

I like that the Czech style lager seems to be gaining popularity in the States. Dry, malty, with a great earthy, grassy aroma.

Bottle thanks to Hayduke. It poured an amber color with a small white head. The aroma was of grains, some nuts and citrus. The taste was of citrus, malts and some hops. Nice.

12oz bottle - pours clear gold with effervescence, white head and decent lacing. Nose is floral and a little grainy. Flavor adds malty backbone. Refreshing. Moderately bitter. Finally a pilsner I like.

Bottle from KNB: Big bold aroma of grains, cereal, oats and grass that smelled better than most other pils. Appeared a golden liquid topped with a fluffy foam head. Some evidence of floaties are seen from the bottle. Drink is crisp and taste like a full-bodied pilsner because of the quality usage of malts to hop. One of the better pilsners I know of coming out of California or from the U.S. for that matter.

A clear golden body with a fast fading white head. Toasted malts and a bit of fruit in the aroma. A slight bit of corn. Flavor had a nice toasted malt presence. Corn notes were present but not offensive or negative in anyway. Some mild sweetness. A nice smooth drink. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz bottle. Pours slightly hazy golden yellow, stiffish white head. Aroma is mostly malt sweet, taste is sweet, overall not that good a pilsenere, a bit more like a macro crap imo.

Bottle: light yellow with medium-sized white head. Aroma is light with hay and grassy hops. Flavor is dry with grass, hay, and bisquit. Palate is lively with carbonation and dry. From the aroma I was expecting very little flavor but was surprised by the spicy hoppiness and full flavor; nice beer.

Peregrine piss never tasted so good! Oh...pilsner, not piss? Whatever, it’s still refreshing and tasty. Golden straw, white beak and plenty of zazzy carbonation. Smells of corn, wheat, caramel, bread and piney citrus hops. A little bitter on the back end but some light caramel sweetness makes this alright drinking.

Like most American attempts at Czech-style Pilsners, this one doesn’t quite seem to get it, although it’s close. The aroma and initial flavor is excellent...fresh, crisp, relatively light-bodied, with both a strong hop presence and a grainy malt, somewhat grassy, in the aroma. I also detect floral notes in the aroma, and I love this. Where it goes slightly (ever so slightly) wrong for me is that the finish is a bit too heavy, and it leaves a heavy, bitter aftertaste, rather than a clean, fresh bitterness. I like the carbonation--contributes to it being fresh. I wish they could retain this beer’s aromatic qualities and up-front bitterness while making the finish cleaner tasting. Still very good and I’d drink again.
