COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Red Tail Ale - The Legend is our flagship brand. It is brewed in the traditional "old world" manner, using premium two-row malted barley, hops and our own special proprietary yeast strain. It is an amber ale with a rich complex refreshing flavor and a crisp dry finish. Red Tail Ale is "Bottle Conditioned." Like good wine, Red Tail Ale is a perfect complement to fine dining.

Probably the most average and unremarkable beer I have ever had. Slight caramel maltiness, slight bitter hoppiness, but thatís about it.

Very drinkable beer. Great red color and decent head. Good malty start followed by slightly fruity, citrussy hop flavor. little bite to the hops. very clean finish.

Nice clean tasting ale. Went down quick. I think this ale would pair better with a steak because I had it with spicy food and it was overpowerded by the spicy food.

Nice honey color. nothing distinctive about this beer, outside of a slight sweetness.

Dark red in color, kept a very nice carbonated head throughout the pint, a bit of a dry taste, very smooth bity aftertaste

Hops first, then a malty finish. Malty aroma. Nice amber color. Another in-between beer. Not bad at all, but nothing to put it up there as íspecialí.

Re-Rate 07/26/02: Nice amber color, large beige head and lots of lace. Nose is malt, the front is malt sweet, the top is light, the finish has a nice spicy hop bite, dry, acidic. A decent beer, and one I have liked for many years, not great mind you just pleasant to drink, when nothing seems right. Ranks #794 on my master beer list.

Amber, small head, good lacing. Medium body with nice light caramel malt flavor followed by a nice thin fruity hop finish. one of the more interesting ambers that iíve had.
