COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Red Tail Ale - The Legend is our flagship brand. It is brewed in the traditional "old world" manner, using premium two-row malted barley, hops and our own special proprietary yeast strain. It is an amber ale with a rich complex refreshing flavor and a crisp dry finish. Red Tail Ale is "Bottle Conditioned." Like good wine, Red Tail Ale is a perfect complement to fine dining.

Just a touch of sweet aroma, with some hints of yeast floating through it. Pours a clear amber, with just a dusting of off-white head. Bready flavor, with a touch of tartness, and a bit of bitterness in the finish. Full mouthfeel. Not bad, but not something I’m going to hunt down again.

Herbal, weird caramel malt aroma--with a little citrus. Light malt flavor; caramel malt, sweet. Some fruity flavor. Harsh bitterness; pretty strong in aftertaste, relative to the other flavors.

Poured a deep amber with a malty aroma. More hops than I was expecting, which was a good thing. Very drinkable.

RaucusBacchus (25) - Sandy, Utah, USA - JUN 1, 2013
Bottle: walnut hue with a moderate head and vey sound lacing. Full, malt nose and malt forward with a well balanced hop note. Unfortunately the finish is daily acidic and rather than refreshing it ends on a sour note. Good beer but not great. ~m --RaucusBacchus

It pours a crystal-clear amber. It has a thin white head that quickly disappears. It has little to no lacing, and a taste that is indistinguishable.

Bottle @ YNWA, Kolding. Pours clear copper golden with a medium, staying, frothy, white head. Aroma is mild, caramel, sweetness, light red apples. Medium carbonation, fine dry and light creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is sweetish, light oats, caramel, piney, light red berries. Long, lingering bitter.

OKplus (560) - Oklahoma, USA - APR 30, 2013
A - Pours a copper amber with a small head that sinks and forms a big bubbled collar. S - Caramel and toffee, white bread, honey. T - Toasted toffee, some citrus tang, along with a brown sugar cherry sweetness. A muted bitterness in the background toward the finish. M - Light to medium body. Low carbonation. Great aroma on this one. The taste isn’t as good the smell. It has some artificial-like flavors going on. Easy drinking though. Serving type: bottle 01-28-2011
